The Neighborhood Kids (TNK) are a San Diego-based conscious hip-hop collective known for their socially conscious and revolutionary music, blending hip-hop with elements of funk, metal, punk, and Latin influences. Led by vocalists Amon the MC and Verde, and turntablist DJ JG, their lyrics address social and political issues like immigration, police brutality, and global oppression.
