Leavenworth Summer Theater, Farmers Markets, and a lot of live music

It's the last week of July and we're heading into August, with plenty of opportunities to get out and about, especially if you like live music or theater.

Midweek Merriment

Starting off Wednesday, July 29, you can find Yoga Basics With Dianne at The Wells House at 10 AM, or catch the München Haus Summer Music Series at München Haus for free live music starting at 6 PM. If you're up for a show, Leavenworth Summer Theater presents 'Anything Goes' at Leavenworth Festhalle at 8 PM for $20.

Thursday, July 30, brings more options. The Leavenworth Village Art in the Park market is open at Front Street Park from 9 AM. If you're feeling creative, Boulder Bend Glassworks offers a Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop starting at 9:30 AM. In the evening, the Chelan Evening Farmers Market opens at 2 PM, and there's another chance for free live music at München Haus with Erin McNamee and Zach Michaud at 6 PM. For family fun, National Night Out 2026 at Eastmont Parks & Recreation offers free food, face painting, and more. Theater fans can see The Sound of Music by Leavenworth Summer Theater at the Ski Hill Amphitheater at 8 PM for $20.

Weekend Warm-Up

Friday, July 31, kicks off a busy weekend. Artists can participate in PAWA Paints Wenatchee: Sidewalk Stories 2-day 2026 or the Plein Air Paint Out in downtown Wenatchee, both starting at 7 AM and free. Live music is abundant: Erin McNamee plays Evergreen Family Wines (formally Ryan Patrick) at 2 PM, Curtis Roy Moore is at Benson Vineyards Estate Winery at 4 PM (free), and Elaine Eagle is at Goose Ridge Estate Winery Leavenworth Tasting Room also at 4 PM. In the evening, more live music at Icicle Ridge Winery: Uptown and Icicle Ridge Winery with Seth Garrido (free). Matthew Marcus McDaniel plays München Haus at 6 PM, and Whisky Trail is at Even Keel Roadhouse. For theater, 1776 - The Musical is at Numerica Performing Arts Center at 7 PM for $37, and Leavenworth Summer Theater presents 'Bright Star' at Ski Hill Amphitheater at 8 PM for $20. Wrap up the night with Bandits of the Animal Kingdom at Stein at 9 PM (free).

Saturday Strolls and Sunday Sounds

Saturday, August 1, is packed with markets and activities. The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market is at Pybus Public Market from 8 AM (free), and the Leavenworth Community Farmers Market is at Lions Club Park from 9 AM. You can try an Interactive Glassblowing Experience at Boulder Bend Glassworks from 9 AM, or take a Yoga @ Evergreen Family Wines class at 9:30 AM. Resort Yoga For All Levels is at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort & Spa at 10 AM. Learn to Turn a Wooden Handle for a Garden Trowel at NCW Woodshop at 11 AM. For more theater, catch 'Anything Goes' at Leavenworth Festhalle at 1 PM for $20. Live music continues with a free performance at Benson Vineyards Estate Winery at 3 PM, and Whisky Trail Band at Chelan Ridge Winery at 5 PM ($23). The Bada Bings play Even Keel Roadhouse at 6 PM, and Micah J is at Chair 5 Pub at 6:30 PM. National Night Out is back at Eastmont Parks & Recreation at 6 PM. The day closes with The Sound of Music at Ski Hill Amphitheater at 8 PM for $20.

Sunday, August 2, offers a more relaxed pace. Enjoy Sunday Voice Session No. 8 at Circle 5 Winery (Martin-Scott) at 1 PM. Alvin Little performs at Succession Wines at 2 PM (free), and BassicAlly is at Chelan Ridge Winery at 4 PM (free).

Looking ahead to next week, Monday, August 3, brings Super Summer Adventures: Survivor-ish Challenge Week at Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center for kids at 9 AM, and another Yoga Basics With Dianne at The Wells House at 10 AM. In the evening, Bingo Night Every Monday is free at Chelan Ridge Winery at 5:30 PM, and Icicle Ridge Winery: Uptown has free live music at 6 PM. Tuesday, August 4, you can see LIVE GLASSBLOWING Demonstrations at Boulder Bend Glassworks at 9:30 AM (free), or catch The Sound of Music at Ski Hill Amphitheater at 8 PM for $20. Wednesday, August 5, Yoga Basics With Dianne is back at The Wells House at 10 AM. 1776 - The Musical is at Numerica Performing Arts Center at 7 PM, and Anything Goes is at Leavenworth Festhalle at 7 PM for $20. Eric Link + Vince Allis play Stein at 7 PM (free). Thursday, August 6, Afton Prater plays Circle 5 Winery (Martin-Scott) at 6 PM, and Curtis Ray Moore also has live music in the hills. Owen Barnhart & Maritza Soto are at Stein at 7 PM (free), and Leavenworth Summer Theater presents 'Bright Star' at Ski Hill Amphitheater at 8 PM for $20. Friday, August 7, is First Friday, with the First Friday Art Exhibit at Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center at 10 AM, and Wenatchee First Fridays (August) downtown at 2 PM (free). Benson Vineyards Estate Winery has free live music at 4 PM, and ARTWORX Group Show "Aquatic" is at Artworx at 5 PM (free).
