It's a busy week around Wenatchee, with plenty of live music, a few markets to browse, and some interesting hands-on opportunities.
Tuesday Tunes and Creative Pursuits
Starting Tuesday, July 7, if you're looking to get moving, there's Zumba at the Manson Grange for $5. For something a little different, Boulder Bend Glassworks is hosting LIVE GLASSBLOWING Demonstrations throughout the day. If you're up in Leavenworth, Icicle Ridge Winery: Downtown has Live Music @ A Taste of Icicle Ridge Winery starting at 6 PM. And for a good cause, München Haus is holding a Benevolent Night supporting the Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue Auxiliary from 4 PM to 10 PM.
Wednesday, July 8, brings more music. Catch Liberty Linklater at Endless Orchard Cider for Tacos & Tunes — it's free. Later, Dominick plays McGlinn's Public House, and The Welter Brothers are at München Haus as part of their summer music series. For something brainy, Pub Trivia is at Stormy Mountain Brewing and Local Public House, which is also free. And don't forget the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market for local goods.
Thursday, July 9, offers another chance to get creative with a Make Your Own Glass Fusing Workshop at Boulder Bend Glassworks. In the evening, there's more live music: Carly Klein at München Haus and Hobson Connell at Wildflour.
Weekend Markets and Melodies
Friday, July 10, kicks off the weekend with art and music. The Leavenworth Village Art in the Park is at Front Street Park, showcasing local artists. For tunes, Erin McNamee is at Evergreen Family Wines, Josiah Bogle plays at Goose Ridge Estate Winery Leavenworth Tasting Room, and Owen Barnhart is at Vin Du Lac Winery. You can also find Robert Baumann performing free at the Downtown Gazebo. In the evening, Carly Klein is at Pybus Public Market, and the Chumlilies are at München Haus.
Saturday, July 11, starts with the Lake Chelan Farmers Market and the Leavenworth Community Farmers Market.
