It's shaping up to be a busy couple of weeks, with quite a bit happening across Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. From music festivals to art walks and early Oktoberfest celebrations, there's a good spread of things to check out.
Kicking Off the Week
Things start on Wednesday, September 9th, with Spencer List at The Big Dipper for $10. If you're looking for something to ease into the weekend, that's a solid bet. Later in the week, Friday, September 11th, has a few options. In Coeur d'Alene, the monthly ArtWalk takes over Downtown Coeur d'Alene starting at 5 PM, and it's free. This is a good chance to see what local artists are up to. Also on Friday, the Panhandle Patriot Music Festival is happening, supporting local veterans' organizations. For something a little more low-key, Music in the Park at Olmsted Brothers Green features Mr. Vales Math Class and it's free.
Music-wise, The Fox Theater hosts The Stars Tour Featuring Anne Wilson at 7 PM, and Hayes Noble plays The Big Dipper for $15.
Weekend Happenings
Saturday, September 12th, is packed. Riverfront Park has Hands Across Spokane 2026, which is free, and the Hillyard Bash is also on. Over in Coeur d'Alene, City Park hosts the 2nd Annual 208 Recovery Celebration with live music and speakers, and it's free. If you're near Riverstone, the Riverstone Block Party & Brewfest at The Village at Riverstone is a free, family-friendly street fair with a brewfest attached.
For art, Uprise Brewing Co. has the 33 Artists Market at 11 AM. Music options for Saturday include Concerto Night - Brahms and Elgar: Romantic Masterpieces at Barrister Winery, Flee The Century at The Big Dipper for $15, and The Magic of Motown at Bing Crosby Theater. Also on Saturday, the Boomjam Music Festival is happening in Downtown Spokane, featuring Lady Wray, Jacklen Ro, Persona 749, and Mamalarky.
Sunday, September 13th, offers a couple of music choices. Soul Proprietor plays Mountain View Venue @ Bluff Dweller Farm for $25, and the Diego Romero Band will be at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars.
Midweek and Next Weekend
Looking ahead to the next week, Pallbearer plays The Big Dipper on Monday, September 14th, for $25. Tuesday, September 15th, has some bigger names with Gretchen Wilson and The Band Perry at the Spokane County Interstate Fair and Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson at BECU Live Outdoor Venue Airway Heights Washington on Wednesday, September 16th. Wine on Wall is also happening in Downtown Spokane on Wednesday for $25.
As we approach the next weekend, Friday, September 18th, brings the Hillyard Third Thursday Art Walk and the start of Oktoberfest in Downtown Coeur d'Alene for $40. Ice Cube is playing BECU Live Outdoor Venue Airway Heights Washington for $57. Saturday, September 19th, continues the Oktoberfest celebrations in both Downtown Coeur d'Alene and the West End of Spokane, both with entry fees. For music, Lauren Daigle is at MØDE Stadium Stateline Speedway for $58, and Shadow Thoughts are at The Big Dipper for $15.
