Fleetwood Mac Tributes, Motown Magic, and Riverfront Eats

By Drift Velocity Editorial·

This week looks like a good one to get out and enjoy the last full month of summer. There are a few chances to catch some live music, and the food trucks are back at Riverfront Park.

Midweek Melodies

Wednesday, August 12th, brings a couple of options for Fleetwood Mac fans. Paper Flowers (Remembering Fleetwood Mac) is playing a free show at McEuen Park in the evening. If you're up for a cruise and a pricier ticket, Wild Rumours - A Fleetwood Mac Experience is playing on Lake Coeur d'Alene Cruises at 7:00 PM. Also on Wednesday, the 2026 River City Market & Music is happening at Landing Point Kitchen + Bar with live bands, and it's free. For something a little different, the Spokane Civic Theatre is putting on Alice in Wonderland Jr. at 7:30 PM.

Thursday, August 13th, has a few music options. The Mountain Country Classic at The Club at Prairie Falls features Michael Ray, Atlus, Matt Cooper, and Harper Grace. If you're looking for free music, The Pollinators will be playing classic rock at McIntire Family Park, and Spokane's own Cold Weather Venture is at The District.

Weekend Wonders

You can start the day at the Partners Inland Northwest Community Block Party (free) or head to the Spokane NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair at Riverfront Park - Lot 7 in the evening. The 2nd Friday ArtWalk in Downtown Coeur d'Alene is a good bet for local art and music, and it's free. For music, The Beths & Beach Bunny are at the Knitting Factory, and Shot in the Dark - American Songbook is performing at The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center.

Saturday, August 15th, brings Ales for the Trail 2026 at City Park. In the evening, the Bing Crosby Theater hosts The Magic of Motown, a tribute to Motown artists. Later, at the Knitting Factory, it's THE TAYLOR PARTY: TAYLOR SWIFT NIGHT.

Sunday, August 16th, has more music with The Hankers playing free boot-kicking country at the Rotary Lakeside Bandshell. Soul Proprietor performs at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, and Igor & The Red Elvises are at The Big Dipper. The Spokane Civic Theatre has another showing of Alice in Wonderland Jr., and the Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre presents Titanic the Musical at NIC Boswell Hall / Schuler Performing Arts Center.
