Block Parties, Brewfest, and Broadway in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene

It's a busy week in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, with plenty of outdoor activities, music, and a chance to catch some theater indoors.

Early Week Happenings

Starting today, July 7th, you can grab a bite at the Riverfront Eats Food Truck Series at Riverfront Park at 11 AM. Later, for those who enjoy a classic, Fiddler on the Roof is playing at NIC Boswell Hall / Schuler Performing Arts Center at 2 PM. If you prefer a bit of mystery, Clue - Live On Stage is at the First Interstate Center for the Arts at 7:30 PM, with another showing on Wednesday. Wednesday also brings The Rhythm Dawgs to McEuen Park for a free rock variety show at 5:30 PM.

Thursday, July 9th, has a few options. Art lovers might check out Small Sizes at the Spokane Valley Library starting at 10 AM, or the Light/Land/Sky exhibition at Terrain Gallery from 5 PM. For music, Carli Osika plays the Summer Concert Series at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars for $14 at 5:30 PM, while the CdA Big Band offers free jazz at Riverstone Park at 6 PM. If you're looking ahead to the weekend, there's an Emerge Block Party Preview & Artist Reception at Emerge at 7 PM.

Weekend Festivals and Fun

Friday, July 10th, kicks off with the Post Falls Festival at Q'emiln Park, a free community festival with music and vendors. Also free is the Emerge 13th Annual Block Party at Emerge starting at 4 PM, a community arts event. Art enthusiasts can also enjoy the 2nd Friday ArtWalk in Downtown Coeur d'Alene and the Opening Reception for Light / Land / Sky at Terrain Gallery, both starting at 5 PM. If you're looking for something unique, the Spokane NIGHT MARKET & Street Fair is at the University District Gateway Bridge for $3, featuring live bands and vendors. Music options include the Steve Starkey Band at St. Maries City Playground at 6 PM and SUMMER TIME GROOVES FEATURING ZOOZY, DAVESMALL, AND SAV at The District at 8 PM.

Saturday, July 11th, is packed. The Post Falls Festival Parade starts at 10 AM, making its way from Frederick Street & Seltice Way to Idaho Road. The 1-Day Artists & Craftsman Fair @ Post Falls Festival is also at Q'emiln Park from 11 AM. For those who enjoy craft beverages, the Downtown Coeur d'Alene Brewfest is at McEuen Park starting at 1 PM for $40. Music fans have several choices: the Blessing in Disguise Music Festival at One Spokane Stadium at 2 PM, Harrison Summer Concerts: Luke Yates at Harrison Park (free) at 2 PM, and Payton Rae at Bunker Bar / Burger Bunker - Post Falls for $10 at 4 PM. In the evening, An Evening with Chris Botti is at The Fox Theater at 8 PM, and Cannons play the Knitting Factory at 8 PM.

Wrapping Up the Fortnight

Sunday, July 12th, brings the CDA Flea Market 2026 to the Museum of North Idaho at 10 AM. You can also catch Gigawatt performing an 80s tribute at the Rotary Lakeside Bandshell at 1 PM for free, or the Sara Brown Band at Arbor Crest Wine Cellars as part of their Summer Concert Series at 5:30 PM.

Looking ahead to next week, Sam Barber plays Gesa Pavilion on Tuesday, July 14th, at 6:30 PM, and Dinosaur Pile-Up is at The District Bar at 7 PM. Wednesday, July 15th, features the 2026 River City Market & Music at Landing Point Kitchen + Bar at 5 PM, and The Hankers at McEuen Park at 5:30 PM. To close out our fortnight, Charley Crockett is at BECU Live Outdoor Venue Airway Heights Washington at 7:30 PM.
