Music, Markets, and Museum Tours This Week

Things are humming along this week in Lewiston and Clarkston, with a good mix of music, markets, and some interesting art and social gatherings. The weather's warm, so make sure to hydrate, especially if you're out enjoying the live tunes.

Kicking Off the Weekend

Thursday offers a few choices to ease into the weekend. If you're interested in local history, the Nez Perce National Historical Park has Museum Collection Tours at 1:00 PM. Later in the evening, you can catch Live Music on the Patio at Meriwether's Bistro starting at 6:00 PM, or head to Lindsay Creek Vineyards for Corks for a Cause - Kid Free Carnival! at the same time.

Friday brings a couple of musical options. MJ Barleyhoppers Brew House hosts Friday Live Entertainment at 11:00 AM, and later, local R&B vocalist Sammi Hanchett performs at Mystic Cafe at 6:00 PM. For something a bit different, Shooters Sports Bar has the LEWISTON - Idaho Bighorn Lottery Tag Drawing & Summer Social starting at 3:00 PM, which is a FREE community event.

Weekend Markets and Melodies

Saturday is market day. The Lewiston Farmers Market opens at 8:00 AM, offering local produce and artisan goods. Over in Clarkston, the Clarkston Farmer and Artisan Market will also be open for business. If you're looking for something for the kids, or just to catch up on reading, the Lewiston City Library brings its Library on the Go to Hereth Park at 9:00 AM, offering books and free Wi-Fi. For evening entertainment, violinist Sam Canner will be at Mystic Cafe at 6:00 PM.

Mid-Week Art and History

Mid-week, there's a focus on art. On Wednesday, July 29th, the Lewiston City Library hosts Crazy Quilts, Their History & How To with BJ Sandusky at 3:00 PM. Later that day, at 5:00 PM, Art Uncorked Lewiston has an Art Therapy Session organized by Nimiipuu Health. There's also the Creative Confluence Show at the Art Show Venue, featuring regional environmental themes. Thursday, July 30th, the Nez Perce National Historical Park offers another round of Museum Collection Tours at 1:00 PM.

Looking Ahead to Next Weekend

As July turns to August, the events keep coming. Friday, July 31st, brings more live music with Andru Gomez at Mystic Cafe and The Michael Kelly Band at Lindsay Creek Vineyards, both starting at 6:00 PM.

Saturday, August 1st, is another busy day. The Lewiston Farmers Market has its Market Day starting at 8:00 AM. For music lovers, the Return to Riverside Music Festival 2026 kicks off at 1:30 PM at the WI&M Historic Railway Depot. Later, Eric E. performs at Mystic Cafe at 6:00 PM, promising an intimate and engaging evening. The Clarkston Farmer and Artisan Market will also be open. If you're looking for something thought-provoking, the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History hosts Savoring our Stories at 12:00 PM, a FREE event. The Moments that Made Us (Exhibition) will also be ongoing at the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History through Sunday, August 2nd.
