Kalimba Kadjaly Marichal Ibar, known mononymously as Kalimba, is an Afro-Mexican singer and actor born on July 26, 1982, in Mexico City. He began his career at age three and was part of the successful Mexican youth pop groups La Onda Vaselina and OV7 before launching a solo career in 2004 with his debut album "Aerosoul." His music is generally described as pop and R&B.
