Mountain Grass Unit is a bluegrass quartet from Birmingham, Alabama, known for redefining the genre with a fresh narrative, blending traditional bluegrass with influences from country, jazz, funk, rock, and even metal, creating a "jamgrass" sound. They released their debut EP, "Runnin' From Trouble," in 2024, and their debut studio album, "Appalachian Smoke," is set to be released on August 28th.
